The train will have 14 carriages with 34 luxury rooms. It will offer a private and comfortable experience for travelers. The Dream of the Desert train will show the beauty of Saudi Arabia’s landmarks and culture while giving a luxurious ride.

This project is part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to improve tourism and the cultural scene in the country. The train will allow passengers to explore important and beautiful places in Saudi Arabia in a very comfortable way.

The inside of the train is inspired by the desert and old Saudi buildings. It will have soft colors, high-quality fabrics, and beautiful decorations. The design will also feature famous Saudi landmarks, like Madain Saleh and Hail. The journey will not only be beautiful but also educational, as passengers can learn about the country’s rich history.

The train will start in Riyadh and travel along Saudi Arabia’s Northern Railway. This will let passengers see some of the most beautiful spots in the country, including historic places.

Saudi Minister of Transport, Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al Jasser, explained that the Dream of the Desert train is part of a larger plan to make Saudi Arabia a major global tourist spot. He said the train will offer a mix of luxury, modern style, and Saudi traditions.

The Ministry of Culture is working with SAR to include cultural programs in the train ride. This will give passengers a chance to learn more about Saudi Arabia’s history and traditions while traveling. The Saudi Tourism Authority is also planning special travel packages that go hand in hand with the train’s route. These packages will let visitors explore historical places and enjoy experiences like pearl diving.

Paolo Barletta, CEO of Arsenale, said that Dream of the Desert is more than just a luxury train; it’s a special experience. He’s excited to make this dream come true.

The Dream of the Desert train will start running by the end of 2026. Booking details and travel packages will be shared soon.

SAR’s CEO, Dr. Bashar bin Khalid AlMalik, said this project will help Saudi Arabia grow and connect with the rest of the world. He believes the train will set new standards for luxury travel and make Saudi Arabia a top tourist spot.

The Dream of the Desert train is part of Saudi Arabia’s plan to become a leader in tourism, offering visitors the best in comfort, luxury, and cultural experiences.
