Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Iran’s new President Masoud Pezeshkian had a phone talk. They spoke on the happy day of Eid Al-Fitr and gave each other good wishes.
In their call, they spoke about the latest news in the Middle East. They talked about things that matter to both countries.
President Pezeshkian said that Iran does not want to fight with any country. But he also said that Iran will protect itself if needed. He said that Iran is always ready to defend its land and people.

He said Iran wants to talk and solve problems in a peaceful way. But the talks must be with respect and for the good of both sides. “We don’t want war,” he said, “but if someone tries to hurt us, we are strong and ready.”
Both leaders said that Muslim countries should stay together. They believe that if Muslim countries work together, it will bring peace, safety, and growth for all. They also spoke about stopping pain and unfair acts in places like Palestine and Gaza, where many people are suffering.
President Pezeshkian said, “If Muslim countries help each other, the whole region can live better and safer.”
Prince Mohammed bin Salman said he is hopeful that Saudi Arabia and Iran can have a better friendship. He believes this can bring peace and calm to the Middle East. He thanked President Pezeshkian for talking about unity between Muslim nations.
The Crown Prince also said that Saudi Arabia is ready to help fix any problems and make things more peaceful in the area.
This talk between the two big leaders shows that both want peace, not war. It is a good step for the future of the region.
