Barcelona pulled off a great comeback on Sunday, beating Real Madrid 4-3 in a high-energy El Clasico. With this win, they are now just one victory away from becoming LaLiga champions for the 28th time. Raphinha was the star of the night, scoring twice and helping Barcelona overcome a two-goal start by Real Madrid.
This win gave Barcelona a seven-point lead over Real Madrid at the top of the table, with only three matches left. If Real Madrid fails to win their next match, Barcelona could be crowned champions as early as Wednesday. But even if Real wins, a Barcelona victory over Espanyol on Thursday would still seal the title.
Just a few days ago, Barcelona had faced a heartbreaking loss to Inter Milan in the Champions League semi-finals. But they quickly left that behind and showed strong team spirit on Sunday. Lamine Yamal, who also scored, said after the match, “It was very important to win today. This match helped us move on from the Champions League. Suffering teaches us how to grow. Now, we’re close to the title, and we’re happy.”

Real’s Fast Start, Barcelona’s Big Comeback
Real Madrid started the match strong at the Montjuic Olympic Stadium. Kylian Mbappe scored twice in the first 15 minutes. His first goal came from a penalty after he was fouled by keeper Wojciech Szczesny in the fifth minute. His second goal came from a fast break led by Vinicius Jr.
But Barcelona didn’t give up. Eric Garcia scored from a corner in the 19th minute. Then Yamal scored a fine goal in the 32nd minute, curling the ball into the net from the corner of the box. Two minutes later, a bad pass from Mbappe gave the ball to Barcelona, and Raphinha made no mistake, giving Barcelona the lead.
Real thought they had won another penalty in the 43rd minute, but the referee cancelled it because of offside. Just a minute later, Real captain Lucas Vazquez made an error, and Raphinha scored again, making it 4-2.
In the second half, Courtois made several big saves to keep Real in the match. Then in the 70th minute, Vinicius made a strong run and passed to Mbappe, who scored to complete his hat-trick. But that goal wasn’t enough to bring Real back.
Barca Strong, Real Fading
Barcelona looked more organised and calm. They passed the ball well and controlled the game. Real Madrid showed their usual weaknesses in defence, and although Mbappe tried to keep them in the fight, it wasn’t enough.
Coach Ancelotti of Real Madrid said after the game, “It was a tight match, both teams played well. We had chances, but sometimes things don’t go your way. I can’t blame my players—they gave it their all.”
Now, Barcelona are just one win away from lifting the trophy, while Real Madrid could end the season without a title. This match was another exciting chapter in the El Clasico story, full of action, mistakes, and great football.
