Bollywood couple Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa have welcomed their first child, a baby girl, adding joy to their already special day—their fourth wedding anniversary. The couple announced the news with an emotional message, calling their daughter the greatest blessing they could receive.
Farah Khan Kunder was among the first to share her excitement. Taking to Instagram, she posted warm glimpses from Patralekhaa’s baby shower, capturing intimate moments with close friends. With a heartfelt caption, Farah wrote, “The Baby is here!! Congratulations @patralekhaa n @rajkummar_rao… enjoy this beautiful phase of life n remember for any baby advice… main hoon na.” She also tagged Huma Qureshi, appreciating how perfectly timed the celebration was for the parents-to-be.
The shared pictures reflected a cheerful and close-knit gathering. Rajkummar and Patralekhaa were seen dressed in matching yellow outfits, smiling as they posed with pastel balloons, a baby-themed cake, a teddy bear, a crib setup, and floral decorations. Another group photo showed Huma Qureshi, Sonakshi Sinha, Zaheer Iqbal, Saqib Saleem, and others joining in the festivities.
As soon as the couple made their announcement public, congratulatory messages poured in from fans and industry colleagues. Stars like Suniel Shetty, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Malaika Arora, Neha Dhupia, Varun Dhawan, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon sent blessings and love to the family. Farah, known for her close bond with the couple, also left an enthusiastic comment, expressing her joy at becoming the “fun aunt.”
Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa’s journey began on the sets of the 2014 film Citylights, which marked her Bollywood debut. After several years of togetherness, they tied the knot on November 15, 2021, in an intimate ceremony in Chandigarh. Now, with the arrival of their daughter, their relationship enters a new and cherished chapter.
In terms of work, Rajkummar has recently wrapped up filming for his upcoming project Nikam, continuing to balance a thriving career with meaningful personal milestones.
