The Ambani Mumbai home, Antilia, became the venue for a grand welcome dinner this week, hosted by Isha Ambani in honour of the board members of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). The event combined elegance and hospitality, highlighting Isha’s impeccable fashion sense.
Recently appointed as a trustee of LACMA, Isha Ambani kept her look understated, wearing a brown pantsuit with her hair neatly tied in a bun. She accessorised minimally, opting for simple studs, creating an elegant and refined appearance that perfectly complemented her outfit.
Isha Ambani’s fashion choices have been turning heads this year. On November 10, she co-hosted the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Dinner in New York alongside Zac Posen, Anna Wintour, and Chloe Malle. For that occasion, she wore a deep wine-purple ensemble featuring a corseted top with an inverted neckline, a cropped blazer with a sparkly button, and a sleek pencil skirt, completed with a jewelled belt.
The dinner at Antilia coincided with an important moment for LACMA. The museum announced the addition of five new board members, including Isha Ambani, David Kaplan, Wendi Murdoch, Andy Song, and Maggie Tsai. These appointments brought LACMA’s total voting trustees to 58, with eight more honoured as life trustees. The new board represents a diverse mix of backgrounds, spanning retail, digital communications, finance, and entertainment, with strong ties across both sides of the Pacific.
The gathering also came as LACMA nears a significant milestone in its ongoing redevelopment. Construction on the new David Geffen Galleries has entered its final phase, a project set to transform the Wilshire Boulevard campus and enhance the visitor experience when it opens in April 2026.
For Isha Ambani, the dinner was more than an act of hospitality. It offered the museum’s leadership an opportunity to connect in a relaxed, elegant setting away from the boardroom. For guests, it marked the beginning of a fresh chapter for LACMA and one of its newest trustees.
