Raghu Dixit Marries Varijashree Venugopal in Joyful Ceremony

Musician and singer Raghu Dixit recently tied the knot with his 34-year-old partner, Varijashree Venugopal, a renowned flutist, singer, and music educator. The couple officially got married on October 14, 2025, in a close-knit ceremony, and several photos from the wedding quickly circulated on social media.

On October 25, Raghu shared a picture with his wife on Instagram, writing, “To Joy and Togetherness! Grateful to step into this new journey with the blessings of our elders, families, and loved ones. Love and Light Vari & Ragh.”

Raghu and Varijashree’s relationship began as a friendship that gradually blossomed into love. Sharing common interests and a deep connection, they eventually decided to take the plunge into marriage.

The wedding ceremony saw the presence of several celebrities, including actress Yamuna Srinidhi, who shared glimpses of the celebration online. Raghu looked dashing in a yellow-toned vesthi with maroon borders, while Varijashree appeared radiant in an orange-toned saree paired with a blue blouse and traditional wedding jewelry. Photos from the event captured the couple participating in wedding rituals, exuding joy and love. Other notable attendees included Ayyo Shraddha and close friends.

Earlier in February 2025, Raghu had shared a photo of Varijashree on social media, praising her for her Grammy nomination. At the time, he referred to her as a friend and expressed pride in their bond.

Raghu was previously married to choreographer and dancer Mayuri Upadhyay in 2005. The couple began living separately in 2016, and their divorce was finalized in 2019. While the reasons for their separation were kept private, Raghu mentioned that he felt he could not be a good husband despite Mayuri’s support.

During this period, when allegations of sexual harassment surfaced against Raghu by Chinmayi Sripada, Mayuri stressed that the case was unrelated to their separation and advocated for strong action. Raghu had publicly stated, “I am divorcing my wife. We have not been together for the past three years, and we are in the final stage of the divorce process. She’s a good wife, and I couldn’t be a good husband.”
