PureHealth launches mental health platform Sakina

PureHealth has unveiled Sakina, the UAE’s most extensive mental health platform, aiming to provide specialized psychiatry services to all community members to enhance their quality of life.

Sakina offers a diverse range of services, including outpatient mental health hubs, neurodiversity centers, inpatient institutes, specialized satellite clinics, and homecare. These services are designed to cater to diverse populations, from initial screening and early intervention to complete rehabilitation and reintegration. It also offers secondary and tertiary care services for at-risk populations such as the elderly, children, People of Determination, women's mental health, and those dealing with addiction and eating disorders.

The platform extends its services through Pura, PureHealth’s personalized AI-enabled longevity app, offering curated care, monitoring, and tracking, as well as a full spectrum of psychiatry services for various demographics.

Shaista Asif, Group CEO of PureHealth, emphasized the importance of mental health, highlighting its impact on overall well-being and life expectancy. She stressed PureHealth's commitment to providing holistic healthcare and bridging the gap between mental and physical health.

Dr. Zain Al Yafai, CEO of Sakina, outlined the platform's mission to make holistic mental healthcare accessible across the UAE. Sakina utilizes SEHA's network of clinics and hospitals and cutting-edge digital technologies to provide comprehensive mental health services, including home care, therapies, and specialized support for vulnerable individuals.

The Sakina network comprises 34 satellite clinics, two mental health hubs, two neurodiversity centers, and nine integrated clinics. It boasts a team of 628 clinical professionals and 77 administrative staff, offering a tiered care approach covering all age groups and mental health concerns.

PureHealth has collaborated with public and private organizations to enhance accessibility and raise awareness of mental health issues. SEHA, a subsidiary of PureHealth, plays a vital role in shifting mental health treatment to community and primary care settings.
