The red carpet is ready, the champagne is chilled, and Hollywood is all set to celebrate the best movies of the year. On Saturday, many famous stars were seen at the Dolby Theatre rehearsing for the big night—the Academy Awards, which will take place on Sunday.
A Simple and Casual Look
Unlike their usual glamorous red carpet looks, many stars showed up in simple and casual outfits for the rehearsal. Selena Gomez wore a black top and jeans, along with light makeup and stylish glasses. She was seen holding an Oscar while practicing her lines on stage.

Scarlett Johansson wore a cream-colored sweatshirt with gold necklaces, and her hair was tied up in a messy bun. Rachel Zegler looked pretty in a mesh top, while Lily-Rose Depp kept it simple in a black T-shirt.
More Celebrities at Rehearsal
Emma Stone was also spotted at the venue, dressed casually in a brown jacket over a white T-shirt and jeans. She practiced walking in high heels to the microphone but forgot her lines at first. She laughed and said, “Oh God, this is going to go great.” After a few tries, she finally got her lines right.
During rehearsals, real Oscar statuettes are used, but the winners are just pretend. Actors play the role of award winners so the presenters can practice handing out the awards properly.
Who Else Was There?
Many other Hollywood stars arrived at the Dolby Theatre on Saturday morning to rehearse. Some of them were Andrew Garfield, Whoopi Goldberg, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Miley Cyrus, Oprah Winfrey, Sterling K. Brown, Ana de Armas, Goldie Hawn, and Miles Teller. They practiced reading their lines, walking on stage, and standing in the right positions for the show.
A Dramatic Awards Season
This year’s award season has been full of surprises. There were challenges like the wildfires in Los Angeles and a controversy over a racist tweet. Now, everything will come to an exciting end as the 97th Academy Awards take place.
The Oscars will be hosted by Conan O'Brien and will start at 4:00 PM (0000 GMT on Monday). While stars are making the final touches to their outfits, the competition for the Best Picture award remains intense. Two very different movies are leading the race, and it is difficult to say which one will win.
Everyone is excited to see who will take home the golden trophies at Hollywood’s biggest night!
