Many people today quickly turn to medicines for common health problems like acne, hair fall, tiredness, or high cholesterol. But sometimes, the body can heal itself when we give it the right kind of food. Nutritionist Khushi Chhabra, a holistic health expert, says that eating with awareness can make the body stronger from the inside. Instead of only treating symptoms, mindful eating supports the body’s natural repair system.
She shared a list of three helpful foods for each common issue. These foods are easy to find, simple to eat, and full of nutrients that the body needs. According to her, when we choose food wisely, we help the body balance itself and stay healthy without depending too much on pills.
For acne-prone skin, she suggests spearmint tea, pumpkin seeds, and tomatoes. These foods have antioxidants and zinc that help reduce inflammation and oil buildup in the skin. When the skin is less inflamed and less oily, breakouts become fewer and healing becomes easier.
For people facing hair fall, she recommends eating moringa leaves, eggs, and black sesame or pumpkin seeds. These foods give the body protein, iron, omega-3, and zinc. All these nutrients help strengthen the hair roots and reduce breakage. With regular use, hair becomes stronger and looks healthier.
For those who often get urinary tract infections (UTIs), the nutritionist advises having coconut water, cranberries with amla, and probiotic curd. These foods help maintain healthy bacteria in the body and improve urine flow. They also prevent harmful bacteria from sticking inside the urinary tract, which helps reduce infection risk.
If someone feels tired easily and wants more energy, the nutritionist recommends bananas, sweet potatoes, and a mix of jaggery with roasted chana. These foods provide natural sugar and important vitamins that help the body create energy without causing sudden energy crashes, like sugary snacks often do.
Her message is simple: our food choices affect how we feel every day. Instead of only trying to fix problems after they appear, we can support the body so it does not fall into imbalance so quickly. Natural healing takes time, but it is gentle and supportive.
By eating thoughtfully and choosing whole foods instead of processed snacks, we can improve our skin, hair, energy, digestion, and overall wellness. Good health is not just about medication. It is also about daily nourishment and care for our body from inside.
