In a series of devastating attacks using heavy weaponry, numerous civilians have lost their lives or suffered injuries across several regions of Myanmar, including Mandalay, Tanintharyi, Bago, and Sagaing. These incidents have ignited severe worries regarding the safety of civilians amidst the ongoing turmoil.
Official reports indicate that shelling in various villages led to fatalities, including a tragic incident involving a school teacher in the Mandalay Region. Additional casualties, encompassing men, women, and a child, were injured in separate incidents and rushed to local hospitals for immediate care.
Authorities have confirmed that these attacks utilized heavy weaponry, rockets, and other violent means aimed at residential areas, leaving local inhabitants filled with fear and resentment over the persistent violence that has disrupted their lives and created perilous conditions.
In response, security forces have intensified their operations to pinpoint those accountable and avert any further assaults. Officials have announced that they are actively working to enhance security protocols and restore peace in the afflicted areas.
