Microsoft opens first Datacenter Academy in Middle East, in Saudi Arabia

At the LEAP 2025 event, Microsoft Arabia and the National IT Academy (NITA) shared news about a new training center in Saudi Arabia. This will be the first Microsoft Datacenter Academy (DCA) in the Middle East. The academy will help students learn important skills to work in big computer centers. At the same time, Microsoft is building three large datacenters in Saudi Arabia. These datacenters will be ready by 2026 and will help improve technology services in the country. Experts say Saudi Arabia’s cloud market will grow fast, reaching $3.9 billion by 2027. NITA’s executive director, Nora Al-Shaikh, said this partnership will help Saudi Arabia become a major center for datacenters.
