Mahesh Babu is once again winning attention, not only for his next big movie but also for his unbelievable fitness at the age of 50. The actor is preparing for SS Rajamouli’s grand project Varanasi, which was officially announced during a big event in Hyderabad on November 15. Stars like Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran also attended the event, making it one of the most talked-about moments of the week. The makers also released the first look of Mahesh Babu as “Rudhra,” and fans immediately began saying on social media that the actor still looks like someone in his early 30s.

This sudden wave of comments has brought back attention to Mahesh Babu’s strict fitness routine and clean eating habits, which he has followed for years. His youthful appearance is not a result of shortcuts or sudden diets but the result of a daily routine he has kept stable for a long time. People who work with him say that his discipline is what separates him from many others in the industry.

Mahesh Babu’s trainer, Kumar Mannava, once explained how the actor treats fitness like an essential part of his life. He said that Mahesh never sees workouts as something temporary for a movie role. Instead, he trains throughout the year and never skips his sessions. Mannava said clearly that Mahesh values his body and treats it with care every single day.

Mahesh follows a five-day workout plan. Each day is dedicated to a single body part so that he can focus well and build strength evenly. On normal days, he trains for about one hour. On days when the plan is more intense, he works out for almost ninety minutes. He always ends his sessions with long stretching routines. These stretches help him stay flexible and prevent stiffness, which often becomes a problem for many actors as they grow older. This consistency helps him stay strong, fit, and active even at 50.

His diet is just as simple and steady as his workouts. Mahesh does not follow trendy diets or extreme food habits. Instead, he eats clean meals that give him steady energy throughout the day. His diet is divided into five to six small meals. Two of these meals are supplement shakes that help him get all the nutrients he needs without overeating.

His breakfast is always practical—oats, eggs, nuts, and fruits. These foods give him a good start to the day with protein, good fats, and fibre. After his workout, he drinks a protein or nutrition shake to help his body recover. For lunch, he usually eats chicken, lamb, or fish, along with brown rice, quinoa, or khus khus. These meals give him protein and healthy carbs. His dinner is simple too. He often eats whole-wheat or brown bread with eggs or chicken so that his body gets the right balance of food even at night.

Because of his regular routine, Mahesh remains strong and lean throughout the year. He does not rely on sudden transformations for movie roles. Instead, he stays prepared and healthy at all times. This is why fans were amazed to see him looking so youthful and energetic at the event in Hyderabad.

As the excitement around Varanasi continues to grow, Mahesh’s look as Rudhra has already created a buzz. His dedication to fitness and a balanced lifestyle has inspired many fans who admire not just his acting but also his self-discipline. His routine shows that staying fit does not require extreme methods—it simply needs consistency, clean food, and respect for one’s own body.

Mahesh Babu’s journey toward the release of Varanasi has only begun, but his health and fitness story is already making headlines. His example reminds people that age can be handled gracefully with good habits and steady discipline.
