Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially changed the name of the UAE Exchange Metro Station to Life Pharmacy Metro Station. This change comes under a 10-year agreement with Life Pharmacy.
The agreement was signed between Life Pharmacy Group and Hypermedia, with Mada Media attending as the official partner working with RTA for metro station naming rights.
Mr. Abdul Mohsen Ibrahim Kalbat, the CEO of RTA’s Rail Agency, said he was happy about this new agreement. He said that the Dubai Metro Naming Rights initiative, which started in 2009, has been a big success. It was the first project in the world where metro stations were named after companies or brands.

He explained that RTA wants to build strong partnerships with private companies because they help the country grow. These partnerships also help bring in new knowledge, create more jobs, and support the government’s development plans.
Mr. Mohamad Al Hammadi, CEO of Mada Media, said that this deal with Life Pharmacy is part of their goal to turn metro stations into great places for advertising and brand promotion. He believes that this metro station will help Life Pharmacy become even more popular with daily travelers.
Mr. Abdul Rahuman Abdul Nazzar, Chairman and Managing Director of Life Pharmacy Group, also shared his thoughts. He said they are proud to be part of Dubai’s transport system. He explained that this metro station is an important place that serves thousands of people every day.
He added that this partnership is not just about putting their name on a station. It shows that Life Pharmacy wants to be a real part of the city and its daily life.
Starting from May 2025 until the end of August 2025, RTA will begin changing all signs inside and outside the station. They will also update the name in RTA apps, digital systems, and the audio announcements on the trains.
