In a major step toward strengthening supply chain resilience, 7X has partnered with key Abu Dhabi government entities to launch ADEED, the UAE Supply Chain Support Platform. The initiative aims to enhance business continuity across Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE as global trade dynamics continue to evolve.
The ADEED platform brings together a strong network of strategic partners, including the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abu Dhabi Customs, and Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council. Together, these entities form a coordinated ecosystem designed to address supply chain challenges and ensure uninterrupted trade flows.
Positioned as a central enabler across trade, transport, and logistics, 7X will leverage its extensive operational network to respond to supply chain demands identified through ADEED. The platform facilitates integrated solutions across air, road, and sea logistics, along with fulfilment services, both domestically and internationally.
As a key trade facilitator, ADIO plays a pivotal role in ensuring Abu Dhabi remains agile and resilient. By combining real-time market intelligence with business support services, ADEED offers enhanced visibility into the movement of goods, industrial inputs, and export-related materials. This approach is critical to maintaining steady supply chains and safeguarding economic stability.
Each partner contributes uniquely to the initiative. ADDED strengthens the emirate’s economic framework, while Abu Dhabi Customs streamlines logistics operations across ports and manages import-export processes. ADQCC ensures product quality and reliability by setting standards and enabling access to certified suppliers, further reinforcing supply chain integrity.
At its core, ADEED utilizes advanced AI technology to deliver actionable insights into supply chain and trade operations. The platform helps businesses identify gaps, structure requests efficiently, and connect with the right logistics and trade experts, enabling faster and more informed decision-making.
Challenges are channelled through the ADCCI Trade Working Group, where requests are monitored and addressed through coordinated partner efforts. ADIO’s Trade and Industry team supports businesses in sourcing reliable suppliers, while 7X ensures seamless logistics execution to keep goods moving efficiently.
Tariq Al Wahedi, Group CEO of 7X, highlighted that ADEED represents a powerful example of public-private collaboration, designed to deliver practical and timely solutions for supply chain continuity. He added that the initiative aims to expand nationwide, supporting businesses across all emirates.
Meanwhile, Mohamed Ali Al Kamali, Chief of Industry and Trade at ADIO, emphasized that the platform aligns with the UAE leadership’s vision to build a resilient economy. He noted that ADEED provides businesses with real-time insights and strategic guidance, strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as a global hub for trade, manufacturing, and investment.
With ADEED, Abu Dhabi reinforces its commitment to long-term economic growth by ensuring businesses have reliable access to essential materials, efficient logistics solutions, and a resilient supply chain framework.
