Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, opened the ‘Dubai Future Solutions – Prototypes for Humanity’ program. This program was approved by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and shows Dubai’s focus on helping people with new ideas and smart solutions.
What is the Programme?
The program works with the Dubai Future Foundation to solve big problems in the world. It brings together students and teachers from around the world to share their creative projects. These projects aim to make life better and fix issues like healthcare, energy, and nature. The event is part of the 2024 Dubai Future Forum, held on November 19 and 20 at the Museum of the Future. More than 2,500 experts and 100 global groups joined the forum.
Ten Years of Success
Her Highness Sheikha Latifa said she is proud of the success of the ‘Prototypes for Humanity’ program over the last ten years. She said the new version, called ‘Dubai Future Solutions – Prototypes for Humanity,’ will do even more to support smart ideas and help people.

She said: “For ten years, this program has worked to solve big problems. It brings ideas to life and helps the world. Dubai is proud to support bright minds and help them grow their ideas to serve humanity.”
Her Highness also praised the students and teachers for their hard work in creating solutions for global issues. She promised that Dubai would continue to support them.
Students Around the World
The programme got 2,700 applications from students at over 800 universities around the world. Out of these, 100 of the best projects were selected. Five top innovators will win awards worth AED 360,000 to help them improve their work.
Amazing Ideas on Display
Her Highness Sheikha Latifa opened an exhibition that shows creative projects in healthcare, energy, society, and more. These projects are part of Dubai’s efforts to become a global center for innovation.
She also met government leaders, experts, and business leaders. They discussed how to turn these smart ideas into real projects that help people. Important leaders like Saeed Al Tayer, Dawood Al Hajri, and Dr. Amer Sharif attended the meeting.
Strong Partnerships
Many important groups are supporting this program, like Dubai Culture, DIFC, and the Hussain Sajwani – DAMAC Foundation. DAMAC has donated AED 100 million to support new technology and ideas in Dubai.
Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, said: “This program is a chance for young people to share their amazing ideas and solve tough problems. With the help of Her Highness and our partners, we are making big changes.”
Arif Amiri, CEO of DIFC Authority, said: “This program shows how young people can make the world better with their ideas. DIFC is proud to support it and make Dubai a global hub for new ideas.”
Hussain Sajwani, Chairman of DAMAC, said: “This program helps Dubai become a leader in creativity and technology. We are happy to be part of this and help build a better future.”
Taddeu Baldani Caravieri, the Director of the program, said: “This program has always focused on the best ideas to make the world better. We are excited to see so many talented people here today.”
