Kim Kardashian is jokingly calling out her mom, Kris Jenner, for stealing the spotlight from her latest business announcement. It all started on February 18, when Kim revealed her exciting new collaboration with Nike for her brand, SKIMS, which is launching a sportswear line called NikeSKIMS. But on the same day, Kris posted a picture of herself wearing Alo Yoga clothes, which took attention away from Kim’s big news.

Kris shared a photo on Instagram, showing herself relaxing on a staircase, wearing a comfy charcoal hoodie, matching sweatpants, and white Alo socks. In her caption, she wrote about enjoying cozy days in the brand’s clothes. Kim quickly noticed the timing and couldn’t resist commenting on her mom’s post. She humorously wrote, "Did you have to post this on the same day as my NikeSKIMS announcement?!?!?"
Earlier that day, Kim had excitedly shared the news about her new collaboration, combining her SKIMS shapewear with the popular sportswear brand Nike. She introduced the line as a collection designed not only to enhance the body but also to improve performance. She posted about it on Instagram, saying, "Introducing NikeSKIMS. A new brand is coming this spring for the body-obsessed. Designed to sculpt and engineered to perform." She also posted an image showing the Nike and SKIMS logos together and a photo of a lanyard with a passport-sized image of her.
In her Instagram Stories, Kim explained that both Nike and SKIMS focus on innovation, diversity, and empowering women. She emphasized how every piece of the collection was created with a balance of style and functionality. The first products from the NikeSKIMS line will be available this spring.
Kim co-founded SKIMS in 2019 with Jens Grede, and since then, the company has grown into a billion-dollar business. What started as a shapewear brand has now expanded into loungewear, swimwear, and sportswear, with this new collaboration with Nike marking an exciting next step.
