The Royal Hashemite Court in Jordan has officially declared a three-day mourning period in the wake of the passing of Khaled bin Musaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz Al Saif. Khaled Al Saif was not only a member of the Subai tribe, a prominent group in the Arabian Peninsula with deep historical roots, but he was also renowned as the founder of El Saif Engineering Contracting.
The bereavement announcement extends the court's "deepest sympathies and condolences" to the royal family of Jordan, including King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, as well as to Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, the daughter of the deceased.
Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein had entered marital union in a star-studded ceremony held last year. The event drew the attendance of dignitaries and royals from around the globe, adding a significant chapter to the couple's journey.
Khaled Al Saif's legacy in the engineering realm is marked by the construction of notable structures, most notably Riyadh's iconic Kingdom Tower and various high-rises across the Middle East. His contributions to El Saif Engineering Contracting have left an indelible mark on the architectural landscape of the region. The passing of Princess Rajwa's father is met with a sense of collective grief, acknowledging the loss of a figure whose impact extended beyond familial bounds.
