The Crown Prince of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, met with the first group of companies to receive the Dubai AI Seal during his visit to Dubai AI Week 2025. This event is part of the ongoing efforts to make Dubai a global leader in the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI).
The Dubai AI Seal was introduced in January 2025 by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI). The seal is part of the Dubai Universal Blueprint for AI, which aims to build trust in AI companies and strengthen Dubai’s role in the world of technology.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the importance of the private sector in Dubai’s growth, stating that it plays a key role in driving innovation and progress. He also said that Dubai is committed to using technology, like AI, to improve the lives of people and to make government services more efficient.

"A few months ago, we launched the Dubai AI Seal initiative to create a strong partnership between the government and trusted technology companies working with AI in Dubai and the UAE," said His Highness. "Today, we celebrate the companies that have earned the Dubai AI Seal and look forward to working with many more in the future."
The Dubai AI Seal is awarded to companies that meet strict standards in areas like security, quality, and responsible AI usage. Companies that earn the seal are given a special serial number and classification, which helps both the government and private organizations identify the best AI companies to work with. These companies are also allowed to display the Dubai AI Seal on their websites and promotional materials to show that they meet Dubai’s high standards.
To qualify for the Dubai AI Seal, a company must meet several requirements. These include the type of AI services they provide, how many AI engineers they employ, the projects they are currently working on, and any partnerships they have with government or private sector organizations.
The goal of the Dubai AI Seal initiative is to build a network of trusted AI companies that can work together with the government and private businesses. It helps these companies find new opportunities, use AI responsibly, and create jobs and long-term partnerships.
The initiative is overseen by the Dubai Future Foundation, which is responsible for helping the government use emerging technologies, creating regulations for AI, attracting global solutions, training national talent, and improving the lives of residents in Dubai.
During his meeting with the AI companies, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan reaffirmed Dubai’s commitment to building a future-ready AI ecosystem based on trust, innovation, and strong partnerships.
Dubai AI Week 2025 is an event where 10,000 people from over 100 countries gathered to discuss and shape the future of AI. The event, which is being held from April 21 to April 25, 2025, includes more than 180 speakers, over 150 sessions and workshops, and more than 140 activities. It brings together thought leaders from startups, large companies, governments, and universities to share ideas about AI and its role in the future.
