Global Village Marks UAE’s 53rd Eid Al Etihad with Historic #ZayedAndRashid Drone Show

Global Village, a fun place where families can enjoy shopping, eating, and entertainment, celebrated the UAE’s 53rd National Day, also called Eid Al Etihad, in a special way on Monday, December 2, 2024. The celebration had an amazing drone show that used 600 drones. This show was made to honor the UAE’s Founding Fathers, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum.

The event was part of the #ZayedAndRashid campaign, which is happening all over the UAE. The 15-minute show told the story of the UAE’s history, its present time, and what the future might look like. It was the most exciting part of Global Village’s celebrations for National Day and left everyone watching in awe.

The drone show started by showing how life was in the UAE before the seven emirates came together. It showed the hard life of the people in the desert and how they worked to collect pearls from the sea. This part of the story shows how strong and determined the Emirati people were in the past.
