Emirates is bringing its newest and most upgraded Airbus A380 planes to two new cities: Manchester in the UK and Milan in Italy. These planes have the airline’s latest and most comfortable cabins, including the popular Premium Economy class.
Starting on 6th June, the updated A380 will fly on the EK017/018 route to Manchester. Then, from 1st July, the same upgraded aircraft will begin flying on the EK091/092 route to Milan.
With this change, Emirates will offer almost 5,000 Premium Economy seats every week in and out of the UK from June. The new service to Manchester will join the already running four daily A380 flights between Dubai and London Heathrow. Emirates is also flying the new A350 to Edinburgh and plans to begin using its refurbished Boeing 777 to London Stansted in May.

In Italy, Milan will become the second city to enjoy Emirates’ new cabins and Premium Economy seating. This will happen just before the airline starts flying the new A350 to Bologna later in June.
By adding Manchester and Milan, Emirates will now have 19 cities worldwide served by its newly improved A380 aircraft. This shows how Emirates is serious about offering better travel experiences and giving passengers more seating choices in comfortable cabins.
From July, travelers flying from Manchester or Milan can enjoy Emirates’ top-quality cabins while heading to exciting places like Sydney, Singapore, Osaka, Mumbai, Bangalore, and more across Asia and Australasia.
On the A380, which has four types of cabins, the Premium Economy section is placed at the front of the lower level. It has 56 seats arranged in 2-4-2 rows, giving passengers more space to sit, relax, or work. The seats also come with useful extras like charging ports and a side table for drinks or snacks.
The experience in Premium Economy is made even better with comfortable in-flight items, a special food menu, and a large variety of drinks, including the Chandon Vintage Brut 2016, which is only served in Emirates' Premium Economy.
People can book their tickets easily on the Emirates website (emirates.com), on the Emirates App, at Emirates retail stores, or through travel agents both online and in person.
