Emirates Unveils Premium Economy: More Planes, More Comfort

Emirates, the airline based in Dubai, is making a big change to its cabins. It is investing a huge amount of money to improve 219 of its airplanes. • Airbus A380: 56 seats, arranged in a 2-4-2 layout (two by the window, four in the middle, two by the other window).

• Boeing 777: Up to 24 seats, arranged in a 2-4-2 layout.

• Airbus A350: Up to 28 seats, arranged in a 2-3-2 layout.

How Big Is the Roll-out?

Emirates is not testing Premium Economy on a small scale. It is rolling it out in a major way:

• By March 2026, Premium Economy will be available on flights to 68 cities.

• By then, the airline will offer close to 2 million Premium Economy seats every year.

• By the end of 2026, this number will double to 4 million seats per year.

Loyalty Program: Emirates Skywards
