Mahir Abdulkarim Julfar, Executive Vice President at DWTC, shared, “In 2025, DWTC continues to drive innovation and excellence, with a special focus on shaping the future of the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry. We aim to highlight both well-established and emerging sectors in a global business context. Our calendar is packed with transformative new events and flagship exhibitions like Arab Health, Gulfood, and Arabian Travel Market, which will be crucial in boosting Dubai's economic growth and encouraging business and trade. Aligned with the D33 Agenda, we are focused on strengthening Dubai’s role as a global business center and working towards our ambitious goal of doubling our event portfolio and tripling DWTC's economic impact by 2033.”
DWTC's extensive schedule for the first half of 2025 includes some of the most prominent trade and consumer events worldwide. Meanwhile, Gulfood (February 17-22), one of DWTC’s flagship events, will celebrate its 30th edition, bringing together over 5,000 companies and showcasing the latest innovations in the food and beverage industry. The event will feature new initiatives such as the Gulfood Green Awards, recognizing sustainability in the food sector, and the YouthX Young Chef Challenge, which highlights emerging culinary talent.
