Dubai, UAE – The flower and plant business in the UAE is growing fast. Experts say the market for cut flowers, such as roses and tulips, will grow by 13.7% every year until 2028. This means more flowers will be sold in the country in the coming years. To help this growing business, a big event called MyPlant & Garden Middle East will be held from 15 to 17 November 2025 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai.
This event will be the largest flower and plant trade show in the Middle East, bringing together people who grow, sell, and buy flowers and plants. It will give flower businesses a chance to show their best work, find new buyers, and learn about the newest tools and trends in the plant world.
Dubai has become a popular place for luxury weddings, big events, and international visitors. Because of this, there is a high demand for fresh flowers and beautiful flower decorations. In 2023, the UAE imported more than $70 million worth of flowers. Most of these flowers were bought by hotels, event companies, and flower shops.
To make things even better, the Dubai Flower Centre helps move flowers quickly from other countries to shops and events. This centre handles over 150,000 tons of flower cargo every year, showing how big the flower business has become in the UAE.
At the same time, local farmers in the UAE are growing more flowers, like roses, tulips, chrysanthemums, and gerberas. These flowers are known for lasting a long time and staying fresh, which makes them perfect for weddings and large events.
The UAE has more than 20 million tourists visiting every year. The regional events industry is worth over $70 billion, making the country a great place for global flower and plant businesses to grow. Companies from around the world can now join hands with local buyers and sellers in one place.
The MyPlant & Garden Middle East event is being created to bring all these people together. Exhibitors can showcase:
There will also be a special focus on trade matchmaking, which means helping sellers meet the right buyers to grow their businesses faster.
Valeria Randazzo, the Exhibition Director, said,
“The UAE is growing fast in the flower and plant business. It’s not just about beauty—it’s about big markets, strong supply chains, and smart trade. This event will help flower growers, shops, and companies connect with the people who need their products most.”
She also invited florists, nurseries, garden centres, flower wholesalers, and event planners from all over the world to take part in this event. She believes this will be the most exciting platform for B2B (business-to-business) trade in the green industry.
The MyPlant & Garden event first became popular in Milan, Italy, where more than 810 companies and 27,000 business visitors from 40 countries joined the show. Now, for the first time, this world-class event is coming to the Middle East.
It will help international sellers meet top buyers from hotels, real estate, government offices, and retail stores. These connections can lead to new partnerships and business deals in a region that is quickly becoming a leader in green living and floral decoration.
People or businesses who want to show their products can now register as exhibitors. More details are available on the official website: www.MyPlantgardenme.com.
The MyPlant & Garden Middle East 2025 will take place from 15–17 November 2025 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai. It promises to be a game-changing event for the flower and plant business in the UAE and the entire region.
