The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is getting ready to host the third edition of the Dubai FinTech Summit on 12 and 13 May 2025 at Madinat Jumeirah. The event will be held under the support of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, and President of DIFC.

This year’s theme is “FinTech for All”, and it will bring together top names from around the world to talk about how technology is changing the world of finance.

What the Summit Is All About

The Dubai FinTech Summit is all about the future of money and finance. It will focus on how new technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), blockchain, and digital banking are shaping how we save, spend, and manage money. More than 8,000 people from over 100 countries are expected to attend, including 300 speakers and more than 1,000 investors. These include big thinkers, decision-makers, and financial experts.

Vision for Dubai’s Future

His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed said that the summit reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The goal is to make Dubai one of the world’s leading financial centers. He shared that events like this are helping to turn Dubai into a hub where businesses, especially in finance and technology, want to grow and invest.

The Summit also supports the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to make Dubai one of the world’s top four financial cities by 2033.

FinTech Is Growing Fast

The FinTech (Financial Technology) industry is growing quickly. Experts believe that by 2030, this industry will make $1.5 trillion globally, making up around 7% of all financial services. This growth is happening because of fast improvements in technology, especially AI, blockchain, and online banking.

The Dubai FinTech Summit will talk about these changes and how companies can prepare for the future. Topics will include digital banking, AI-powered services, financial rules, global markets, and new trends in investment.

A Place for Talent and Innovation

Essa Kazim, Governor of DIFC, said that this summit is a great way to show the world that Dubai is open for business—especially for companies working in FinTech, AI, and innovation. He added that Dubai is becoming one of the top places in the world for smart, tech-driven finance companies and talented people to build their future.

What’s New This Year?

For the first time, the Future Sustainability Forum will be part of the Dubai FinTech Summit. This forum will focus on how finance can be more inclusive, accessible, and empowering for everyone. The goal is to make sure that financial services work for people from all walks of life.

There will also be a large exhibition, with 200 companies showing off the latest ideas and tools in FinTech. Special pavilions for countries and startups will allow new and growing businesses to connect with investors and partners.

FinTech World Cup

One of the most exciting parts of the summit is the FinTech World Cup, where startup companies will get to present their big ideas to top investors and business leaders. This gives them a chance to grow their companies and possibly become the next big name in the industry.

The event will welcome many important global leaders and thinkers, such as:

  • Marko Primorac, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Croatia
