Aditya Dhar’s film, Dhurandhar, continues to excel at the box office, showing robust performance as it heads into its third Friday. According to trade analysis by Sacnilk, the film garnered Rs 22.5 crore on Day 15, bringing its net total in India to Rs 483 crore. Given the consistent earnings, it is poised to surpass the Rs 500 crore threshold as early as Day 16.

Internationally, the film is also performing well, with a worldwide gross now at Rs 710.5 crore, establishing it as one of the top Hindi films of 2025. On Friday, overall occupancy for Hindi cinema stood at 35.95%, starting with 16.68% in morning shows and climbing throughout the day to peak at 50.28% during night screenings. Regionally, Delhi-NCR led with 1,203 shows at an occupancy of 36.25%, while Mumbai had 927 shows around 36% occupancy.

This impressive performance has positioned Dhurandhar as the highest-grossing film in Ranveer Singh’s career, marking a notable return to form following a series of moderate hits. Currently, it ranks as the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of the year, following Chhaava, which stars Vicky Kaushal. Given its momentum, it might soon eclipse Chhaava’s lifetime world total of Rs 807.91 crore, having already surpassed films like 2.0 and Gadar 2.

However, Dhurandhar now trails behind Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal (Rs 553.87 crore) and Stree 2 (Rs 597.99 crore) in domestic revenue. The absence of significant Hindi films in the near future is expected to further its box office run. The upcoming major Bollywood release, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, featuring Kartik Aaryan, is scheduled for Christmas. Competing against it will be James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash, which debuted with approximately Rs 20 crore on its first day in India.

Set in Pakistan, this gangster drama is the first part of a two-installment series, with the sequel slated for Eid 2026. The film features a star-studded cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun.
