Her Excellency Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid, the head of the Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai, said that honoring the best non-profit organizations shows how much Dubai cares about helping people and making their lives better. She said this also supports Dubai’s plans to build a kind and helpful community, which is part of Dubai Social Agenda 33.
Her Excellency explained that these organizations are very important because they help people in need and bring communities together. They provide important services to people like low-income families, older people, and those with special needs. These efforts make sure no one is forgotten and everyone gets the help they deserve.
At a special event, 25 non-profit organizations were honored for their great work. They were placed into three groups: Diamond, Platinum, and Gold. Her Excellency said the CDA uses a fair system to check the quality of work these groups do. This system looks at how well their services help the community and meet Dubai’s goals for improving lives. She said the organizations that ranked highest this year are great examples for others because of their quality work and creative ideas.

The evaluation system focuses on several things, like how good the services are, how they meet the needs of the community, and how they help those who need them most. It also looks at how unique and creative their ideas are for solving problems. Based on their scores, the organizations are placed in one of three categories—Diamond, Platinum, or Gold—and given financial rewards to help them keep improving.
Her Excellency said, “Non-profit organizations are very important because they work with the government to make sure people’s needs are met. Today, we are honoring them to thank them for their hard work and to encourage them to keep doing what they do. These groups make life better for everyone and help create a strong and caring community.”
Recognizing Great Organizations
At the event, several organizations were honored for their amazing efforts. In the Diamond group, the Integrated Social Care Foundation was praised for helping older people, and the Family Support Association was celebrated for its creative programs that support low-income families.
In the Platinum group, organizations like the Skills Empowerment Center and the Afaq Association for Development were recognized for helping people with special needs. These groups make sure people with special needs feel included and supported in society.
In the Gold group, organizations like the Al Noor Association for Social Development and the Al Amal Foundation for Voluntary Work were honored for helping many people in the community. They were celebrated for their smart and sustainable solutions to help everyone.
Her Excellency said these organizations have set a high standard for others to follow. She said the CDA will continue to support and encourage them to keep improving and making a bigger difference in people’s lives. She added, “Helping non-profits is part of Dubai’s vision to build a society where everyone has a chance to succeed. We will keep supporting these organizations to make sure they can continue doing great work.”
This event showed how much Dubai values teamwork between the government and community groups. By honoring these organizations, Dubai is building a place where everyone feels cared for and no one is left behind. This is an important step toward creating a better and brighter future for all.
