Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that around 700 cars from the Dubai Taxi Company will be available on the Bolt app, a popular ride-hailing service. This change will help cut down the waiting time for passengers at Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC).
This service lets travelers book a taxi through the Bolt app, making it easier for them to get a ride as soon as they land in Dubai. The move was made because more people are visiting Dubai, and the goal is to make travel smoother for everyone.

This also helps RTA reach its goal of moving 80% of taxi bookings to online platforms in the next few years. This will make Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) an even bigger part of the city's transport system.
Travelers can now book a taxi before they land, so they don't have to wait in long lines at the airport. They can also see the price of the ride before they take it. The service will offer a special group of taxis just for the airport, making it easy to find a ride.
Mansoor Rahma Alfalasi, CEO of Dubai Taxi Company, said, "Dubai is known for using new technology, and this partnership with Bolt is a big step forward. It will help improve the travel experience for visitors and tourists, making transportation better for everyone."
Bolt works in more than 50 countries and 600 cities around the world. It offers services like ride-hailing, scooter rentals, e-bike rentals, and car rentals. More than 200 million people have used Bolt, and over 4.5 million drivers use the app to work.
