At the event, Fahad Abdulqader Al Qassim, the Director General of Awqaf Abu Dhabi, gave a special talk. He said that endowments are not just money saved—they are tools that help grow the country. He said that Awqaf Abu Dhabi does not only invest to make profit, but also to help in areas like hospitals, schools, and community needs.
He also said that the AIM Congress is a great place for people from around the world to meet, share ideas, and work together. He added that using new smart systems helps make sure that endowment money is used in the best way for the future. He said this is how Awqaf Abu Dhabi is helping the country to grow stronger.
At the event, Awqaf Abu Dhabi also showed the many things it owns. These include AED 456 million in bank deposits, over 4,000 buildings, about AED 200 million in cash, and AED 500 million saved for young children and people who cannot manage their money. One of their biggest projects is the AED 1 billion Healthcare Endowment Fund, started in 2024. This fund helps give free or low-cost medical care to poor families, older people, and low-income workers.
Awqaf Abu Dhabi is very careful with its money. It follows the best ways to handle wealth and always tries to help people. It gives school money, medical help, and other support to those who need it most. Its goal is to make life better for people today and tomorrow.
The group ended its part in AIM Congress 2025 by saying it will keep working hard to use endowments in good ways. It wants to build a strong, kind, and fair society for everyone in the country.
