Apple has invested more than Dh6 billion in the UAE over the last five years. This has created over 38,000 jobs in the country. Apple has partnered with local businesses and supported the local iOS app market, which has grown a lot in recent years.
The new Apple Al Ain store will offer a fun and modern shopping experience. Visitors will get to see the latest Apple products and learn about new technologies.
Apple first started its online store in the UAE in September 2011. Its first two physical stores opened in 2015 at Yas Mall and Mall of the Emirates. Since then, Apple has continued to bring its latest devices to the UAE, like the new iPhone 16, advanced Mac computers, and the very slim iPad Pro.
Recently, Apple introduced a new device called Apple Vision Pro. This device combines the digital and real world, offering exciting new experiences for work and entertainment.
The UAE has a strong group of app developers. These developers have earned Dh5 billion by selling their apps through the Apple App Store. This number has grown by over 750% since 2019, showing how many opportunities exist in the app market here.
With the new Apple Vision Pro, UAE app developers will have more ways to create apps and experiences using visionOS technology. Many developers in the UAE are already successful in creating apps for iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and tvOS. This shows how much the UAE is becoming a center for innovation and technology.
