Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the President of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, during his visit to Abu Dhabi.
They met at Wahat Al Karama, a special memorial in the UAE that honors soldiers and heroes who died for the country. President Faye visited the memorial, laid flowers, and showed his respect to the UAE’s martyrs.

President Faye also wrote a message in the guestbook at Wahat Al Karama to share his respect and appreciation.
This visit showed the strong friendship between the UAE and Senegal.
