Actress Aneet Padda, recently seen in the blockbuster Shakti Shalini, is set to appear for her college final-year exams in December and January. After completing her exams, she will begin work on her next film, Dinesh Vijan's Shakti Shalini, in which she plays the lead role.
Aneet is pursuing a B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science and is currently balancing her studies with a busy shooting schedule. Sources say her schedule is being carefully managed to give her adequate time for academics while fulfilling her professional commitments.
Career Highlights
Aneet started her career with a brief role in the drama Salaam Venky (2022) and gained her first lead role in the Prime Video series Big Girls Don't Cry. She made her breakthrough with Mohit Suri’s romantic drama Saiyaara, portraying a songwriter diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's. The film became the second highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025 and the highest-grossing Indian romantic film.
Shakti Shalini is part of Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU) and is slated for release on December 24, 2026. MHCU’s previous release, Thamma, starred Rashmika Mandanna, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
