Abu Dhabi is setting its sights on the UK market with a fresh wave of tourism partnerships aimed at enhancing the city’s global appeal. The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has inked eight strategic agreements with leading UK travel companies at the World Travel Market in London, one of the world’s largest travel industry events.
The move reflects Abu Dhabi’s long-term vision to expand tourism growth while offering UK visitors seamless access to its wide range of attractions, hotels, and experiences. These partnerships are designed to connect first-time tourists, returning guests, and potential travellers with the emirate’s unique offerings, ensuring the city remains a top-of-mind destination.
The agreements involve Southall Travel, Luxury Holidays, Best At Travel, Destination2, Kenwood Travel, Elevate, DialAFlight, and loveholidays. Each company was selected for its expertise across different market segments—from family holidays and couple retreats to high-end luxury travel—aligning with Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Strategy 2030 goals.
By working closely with these travel specialists, Abu Dhabi aims to place itself prominently within travel packages and online platforms across the UK. The initiative ensures the emirate is marketed not just as a city of luxury, but as a destination offering diverse experiences for all types of visitors throughout the year.
This latest push is part of DCT Abu Dhabi’s broader strategy to promote sustainable tourism growth, drive long-term sector development, and maintain resilience in a market where international visitors play a vital role in the local economy.
