The wait is finally over! The popular Korean zombie show, All of Us Are Dead, has started filming Season 2. After the first season became a big hit on Netflix, fans were very excited to see what happens next. The second season promises more action, new characters, and more stories about the zombie outbreak.
Many people were left with questions after the first season. Now, the new season will finally start answering them.
All of Us Are Dead is a Korean zombie drama that came out on Netflix in January 2022. It is based on a Korean comic (webtoon) called Now at Our School. The story is about a group of high school students who are trapped in their school when a zombie virus spreads quickly.
The show became popular all over the world. People loved the story, the scary moments, and the strong emotions. It was different from other zombie shows because it also talked about friendship, fear, and survival.
In Season 1, the students at Hyosan High School are trying to stay alive after zombies take over their school and town. The students face many dangers, lose friends, and have to make hard choices to escape.
At the end of the season, some students survive. But the zombie virus is not fully gone. One big surprise was the "halfbies" — people who are part zombie and part human, like Nam-ra. These people are strong like zombies but can still think and talk like normal humans.
Now that All of Us Are Dead Season 2 is filming, many fans want to know what will happen next. Netflix hasn’t told us much yet, but we have some ideas:
More about the halfbies: The new season will likely show how these half-zombies live. Can they be cured? Are they a danger to others?
New places: Season 1 was mostly inside the school. Season 2 may take us to new towns or show how other people are fighting the virus.
Government response: We might learn how the government is trying to stop the virus or if they are hiding something.
New and old characters: Some of the old characters will return, and we’ll meet new people too.
Netflix hasn’t confirmed the full cast, but we expect to see:
Park Ji-hu as Nam On-jo
Yoon Chan-young as Cheong-san
Cho Yi-hyun as Nam-ra
The director Lee Jae-kyoo is also coming back for Season 2, so the show will still have the same look and feel that fans loved.
Filming will continue through late 2024, and the show is expected to release in 2025, but there is no exact date yet.
Since it came out, All of Us Are Dead became one of the top Korean shows on Netflix, like Squid Game and Hellbound. Fans of all ages liked its mix of teen drama, horror, and real-life problems.
People have made fan videos, drawings, and even dressed up like the characters. News that Season 2 is filming has made a big buzz on Twitter, TikTok, and other social media.
This show is not just about scary zombies. It also tells deep stories about bullying, friendship, family, and sacrifice. That’s why people feel so connected to the characters.
The zombies are scary, but the real drama is about how the students survive and grow. Season 2 will probably continue to show this mix of action and emotion.
Right now, only Season 2 is confirmed. But the creators have said they might make more seasons if fans like it. There are many story ideas still left, like more about the halfbies or if the virus spreads to more places.
