Abu Dhabi is set to cement its place on the global equestrian map with the opening of the Abu Dhabi Royal Equestrian Arts (ADREA) on 1 November 2025. Spanning an impressive 65,000 square metres on Jubail Island, ADREA promises to become the region’s premier destination for classical horsemanship, blending centuries-old European traditions with Emirati heritage.
The opening will be celebrated with a two-day gala on 1-2 November, inviting the public to witness a historic convergence of the world’s most renowned classical riding schools on a single stage. The event is expected to offer an unprecedented display of equestrian artistry and skill.

Attendees will see the Spanish Riding School of Vienna, famed for its Lipizzaner stallions and the Ballet of the White Stallions; the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Arts, showcasing Andalusia’s celebrated dancing horses; the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art, presenting the precision of the Lusitano horse; and France’s Cadre Noir De Saumur, blending haute école horsemanship with performing arts. Complementing this illustrious line-up, ADREA will debut its own ensemble, presenting a unique fusion of UAE culture and classical equestrian tradition.
The gala experience goes beyond performances. Guests will have exclusive access to ADREA’s all-equestrian library featuring rare and original works, curated interactive talks, and bespoke food and beverage offerings, all designed to create a fully immersive cultural and equestrian experience.
This landmark initiative positions Abu Dhabi alongside four historic European institutions, highlighting the UAE’s growing influence in preserving and promoting global heritage in the arts of horsemanship.
