In addition to unveiling the showjumping calendar, ADEC has proudly introduced its newly developed, state-of-the-art equestrian and lifestyle facility. Spanning an impressive 54 acres, this world-class venue has been designed to provide exceptional experiences for riders, horses, and spectators alike. It features top-tier facilities, including indoor, covered, and outdoor arenas, grass paddocks, extensive tracks for horse hacking, and premium seating areas for the audience.
Looking ahead, ADEC has ambitious plans to integrate luxury and lifestyle elements into this space. Visitors can expect exclusive boutiques, spa services, and high-end dining options to elevate their experience.
Engineer Ali Al Shaiba, Director General of ADEC, shared his thoughts on the development:
“We are thrilled to introduce this incredible new venue just in time for the showjumping season. It demonstrates the UAE’s dedication to promoting equestrian sports while honoring our heritage on a global stage. We are deeply grateful to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his unwavering support, which has played a key role in elevating this sport to an international level.”
The Abu Dhabi International Showjumping Event will offer more than just competitions. On Saturday, the Country Flags Parade will take place in the newly built International Arena, followed by an Indoor Drone Show on Sunday featuring dancers and glowing LED horses, adding an extra touch of excitement.
For families, the Entertainment Village promises a range of fun activities for all ages. Kids can enjoy carousel rides, pony rides, and even a magical Princess Show. Younger visitors will find plenty to keep them entertained and engaged. Another unique feature of the event is the Dog Adoption Day, providing attendees with an opportunity to interact with rescue dogs and possibly bring one home.
Food lovers will be treated to a variety of delicious offerings at the Galería AlKhail pop-up market near Gate 4 (Al Karamah). This market will feature dishes from popular eateries like Trio, Mara Lounge, Knot Bakehouse, Otoro, and more. Open throughout the winter season, the market blends tradition, style, and modern tastes to create a memorable dining experience.
