He participated in the roundtable discussion titled "The Future of Health: Redefining Well-Being with Intelligence," held at the UAE Pavilion. The session focused on the vital role of global cooperation in advancing healthcare through technology and responsible innovation. The discussion explored how AI, data, and digitisation can build a more proactive, personalised, and equitable healthcare system.
His Excellency was joined by Prof Orazio Schillaci, the Italian Minister of Health, Joseph Romanelli, President of Human Health International at MSD, Switzerland, and Christophe Weber, President and CEO of Takeda, Japan.
During the session, His Excellency Al Mansoori emphasised the potential of AI to process large amounts of data and turn it into actionable insights. He also spoke about the opportunity to use AI to provide equal access to data-driven healthcare solutions worldwide.
He said: "The progress in AI not only gives us smarter tools to process data, but more importantly, it allows us to use this knowledge to make informed decisions. A healthy population is the foundation of a thriving economy. When citizens are healthy, productivity, innovation, and communities flourish."
His Excellency also shared Abu Dhabi’s vision of creating the most intelligent and efficient health system. He highlighted how the Emirate is using advanced technologies, real-world evidence, and global partnerships to address future health challenges and ensure a healthier future for all.
Abu Dhabi’s commitment to global cooperation is central to its healthcare strategy. The Emirate is working with global partners, including governments, industry leaders, and academic institutions, to tackle common challenges and develop innovative, sustainable healthcare models that serve diverse populations.
Through partnerships with organisations like Takeda and MSD, Abu Dhabi is advancing personalised medicine, rare disease treatments, and precision healthcare, setting a global benchmark for healthcare innovation.
His Excellency Al Mansoori concluded by stressing the importance of global collaboration in building resilient healthcare systems. He invited participants to join Abu Dhabi Global Health Week in April 2025, under the theme "Towards Longevity: Redefining Health and Well-Being." The event will bring together global leaders to explore actionable solutions and strengthen partnerships to advance health and well-being around the world.
