Abu Dhabi: His Excellency Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoon Al Muhairi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, reaffirmed the emirate’s strong commitment to ensuring continuous monitoring and support for those affected by recent Iranian attacks.
During an official visit to Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), Al Muhairi reviewed the ongoing medical response and assessed the effectiveness of treatment plans provided to the injured. He was accompanied by senior officials, including Matar Saeed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Centre Abu Dhabi, Dr Rashed Obaid Al Suwaidi of the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre, and Dr Marwan Al Kaabi, CEO of SSMC.
The delegation met with injured patients and their families, listening to their feedback on healthcare services. Officials emphasised that protecting community well-being remains a top priority in Abu Dhabi’s crisis management strategy, regardless of regional developments.
Al Muhairi highlighted the importance of mobilising all medical and logistical resources to accelerate recovery efforts. He praised the resilience and high morale of the injured, wishing them a swift recovery.
He also noted that the effectiveness of the medical response reflects Abu Dhabi’s advanced healthcare infrastructure and proactive planning. The leadership expressed confidence in the comprehensive rehabilitation programs at SSMC, which are designed to support full recovery.
The delegation commended the dedication and professionalism of medical and administrative staff, stressing that their role is vital in strengthening the emirate’s emergency response system.
Concluding the visit, officials underscored the importance of strong coordination across sectors to ensure an efficient and flexible response. The ADCMC continues to monitor recovery progress closely, ensuring sustained support and quality of life for all affected individuals until full recovery is achieved.
