The Abu Dhabi Executive Council has officially announced new leadership appointments in the health sector, ensuring strong management and continued progress in public health services.
A resolution has been passed to appoint His Excellency Dr. Rashed Obaid Al Suwaidi as the Director General of Abu Dhabi Public Health Center. Dr. Al Suwaidi brings extensive experience and expertise to his new role, where he will oversee public health initiatives and work towards improving healthcare standards in Abu Dhabi.

In addition, the Executive Council has appointed His Excellency Khalaf Helal Al Mazrouei as the Director General of Corporate Enablement and Community Services at the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi. In this role, he will focus on enhancing community healthcare services and supporting various initiatives to strengthen the healthcare system.
Another key appointment is Her Excellency Bayna Saif Al Awani, who will serve as the Director General of Healthcare Payers and Finance Affairs at the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi. She will be responsible for overseeing financial policies, ensuring the efficient use of healthcare funds, and working to improve the overall financial structure of Abu Dhabi’s healthcare sector.
These appointments reflect Abu Dhabi’s commitment to enhancing its healthcare system by placing experienced leaders in key positions. The new leadership is expected to drive innovation, improve healthcare services, and support the well-being of the community.
