Ajman Records 30K Public Transport Trips in Q1 2026

The Ajman Transport Authority has reported a total of 30,378 public transport trips during the first quarter of 2026, highlighting a steady increase in the use of public transportation across the emirate. This growth reflects rising customer confidence in the quality, efficiency, and reliability of the services provided.

Engineer Sami Ali Al Jallaf, Executive Director of the Public Transport and Licensing Corporation at the Authority, stated that the figures demonstrate continuous monitoring of operational performance and a strong commitment to service improvement. He emphasised that the Authority is actively working to enhance efficiency while aligning transport solutions with evolving customer needs.

He further noted that ongoing efforts are focused on strengthening the readiness of the public transport system and elevating service standards. These initiatives aim to ensure smooth mobility, provide a safe and well-organised travel experience, and meet the daily transportation demands of residents.

The Authority also continues to refine its operational plans to keep pace with increasing mobility requirements, contributing to an overall improvement in quality of life in Ajman.
