The logo has a triangular shape, inspired by global standards followed by organizations worldwide that handle hazardous materials. The outer edges of the triangle represent safety and containment, symbolizing protection. The colours in the logo also hold meaning: the orange colour stands for safety and protection, while the metallic blue represents strength and the ability to contain hazardous materials. These elements reflect the centre’s core values.
His Excellency Khalfan Abdulla Khalfan Almansoori, who is the Acting Director General of the Abu Dhabi Hazardous Materials Management Centre, said: “The launch of our new corporate identity is a key moment in our path to becoming a leader in hazardous materials management. It reflects the goals of our leadership to make Abu Dhabi safer and more secure, while making sure the emirate remains a great place for businesses, in line with Abu Dhabi Vision 2030.”
He also mentioned that the launch of the new identity will help unify the centre’s image and build trust with partners and the public. Through this identity, the centre aims to form strategic partnerships with important local and international organizations in the field of hazardous materials management. This will help the exchange of knowledge and the adoption of best practices from around the world.
The centre focuses on many important areas, including security, safety, energy, transportation, environment, health, food, urban planning, and water. It works closely with the private sector and other companies in these areas. The goal of the new identity is to help the centre communicate more effectively and engage positively with these sectors, while also helping everyone better understand the centre’s role and vision for the future.
