WhatsApp is making a new feature for iPhone users. This feature will help people share music from Spotify in their WhatsApp status easily.
Right now, if someone wants to share a song, they must copy and paste the link from Spotify. But with this new update, users can share music directly in their status.

In a test version of WhatsApp (Beta 25.8.10.72 for iPhone), people saw a new option. This option allows users to connect their Spotify app with WhatsApp.
When someone shares a song, their friends will see the song’s name, singer, and picture from the album. There will also be a button that says “Play on Spotify.” If a person taps this button, the song will open on their Spotify app.
Instagram, which is also owned by WhatsApp’s parent company Meta, already has a music-sharing feature. Now, WhatsApp is adding a similar tool for its users.
WhatsApp said this feature will still have strong privacy rules. Only the people allowed to see the status will be able to view the shared song.
Right now, WhatsApp is testing this feature with a small number of iPhone users. More people will get it in the coming weeks.
A similar feature is also being made for Android phones. A test version (Beta 2.25.8.3 for Android) already shows that WhatsApp is working on it.
This update will help people enjoy and share music in a faster and easier way on WhatsApp.
