WhatsApp has released a new update for iOS users, bringing some fun and useful features to the app. The new update, version 24.25.93, is available for download on the App Store, and it includes changes that make using the app more exciting, especially for those who use the camera or share documents often.
One of the coolest features added is AR (augmented reality) effects. When you open the camera in WhatsApp, you'll see a magic wand icon next to the gallery button. This icon gives you access to fun AR effects, such as adding confetti, sparkles, or even making it look like you're underwater. There are other effects too, like teardrops, starry windows, and karaoke mode, which can make your videos and photos more interesting.

Another new feature is the ability to change backgrounds while recording videos. This lets you hide what's behind you or create a new atmosphere for your videos. You can also adjust the color of the video to make it look just the way you want.
WhatsApp has also added a new way to scan documents. Now, when you want to share a document, you can use the "Scan Document" option. This feature helps you quickly take a picture of a document and clean it up by cropping the edges. You can also change the image with filters like black-and-white or color. Plus, there's an auto-shutter function that automatically takes the picture when the document is aligned correctly.
These new features come right after WhatsApp added fun festive updates for the New Year. Now, users can enjoy new stickers, animations, and themed effects for video calls. These updates help keep WhatsApp fresh and fun for everyone. Whether you want to take creative photos, change your video background, or scan a document easily, these new tools are sure to make WhatsApp even better.
