Jordan, Egypt Condemn Terror Plot Targeting UAE

Amman/Cairo: Jordan and Egypt have strongly condemned a reported terrorist plot aimed at destabilising the United Arab Emirates by targeting its economy and financial system.

In an official statement carried by Jordan News Agency, Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs described the attempt as a “rejected terrorist act” that threatens the UAE’s security and stability.

The ministry reaffirmed Jordan’s full solidarity with the UAE, stressing its strong support for all steps taken to protect the country’s sovereignty, safety, and economic system. It also highlighted Jordan’s firm stance against all forms of terrorism that aim to create instability in the region.

Meanwhile, Egypt also issued a strong condemnation of terrorist and sabotage plots targeting Gulf countries, including the UAE and Kuwait. Egyptian authorities noted that national security agencies in both countries had successfully thwarted these threats and dismantled the networks behind them.

In its statement, Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its complete rejection of violence and terrorism, and emphasized the need to safeguard stability and security across the region.

Both Jordan and Egypt have once again underlined their commitment to regional peace and their support for efforts to counter threats against Gulf nations.
