The UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation has taken a new step to enhance its services for athletes and fans by launching two 24-hour hotlines during the 17th edition of the Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Championship, currently being held at Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City. This is the first time in the history of the championship that such a facility has been introduced, showing the Federation’s strong commitment to providing comfort, support, and efficient communication for all participants and visitors.

His Excellency Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, Vice President of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, confirmed in a statement that the two hotlines will operate around the clock throughout the championship. These lines are designed to provide assistance to attendees, including both local fans and international players who have traveled from different parts of the world to take part in this major sporting event.

Al Dhaheri said that the Federation wanted to ensure that everyone attending the championship feels supported and that any issues or questions can be resolved quickly. The hotline service is available for inquiries about event schedules, logistics, venue access, accommodation details, and other needs of athletes and visitors. It is a step that enhances the overall experience of participants and strengthens the Federation’s reputation for organization and hospitality.

The Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Championship is one of the most prominent martial arts events in the world. This year’s edition has attracted more than 10,000 players representing over 130 countries, making it the largest and most diverse in the tournament’s history. The massive turnout demonstrates the growing global interest in Jiu-Jitsu and Abu Dhabi’s leading role as a hub for this sport.

The UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation’s decision to provide two 24-hour support lines reflects its dedication to ensuring smooth operations during the event. Al Dhaheri noted that this service will help not only participants but also fans who may need guidance on attending matches or accessing facilities in and around the Mubadala Arena.

He also mentioned that 70 volunteers of different ages are actively supporting the championship. These volunteers have been stationed across various areas, including entrances, seating areas, practice zones, and information points, to help athletes, officials, and guests. Their role is to make sure the event runs seamlessly and that everyone enjoys a positive experience.

The volunteers are trained to handle different situations and are supported by the new hotline system, which connects them with the event management team instantly if any assistance is required. This combination of human presence and digital support aims to deliver high-quality service throughout the championship.

The UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation emphasized its commitment to making Abu Dhabi a global destination for Jiu-Jitsu. By organizing such a large-scale event and providing professional support services, the Federation continues to strengthen the city’s reputation as the “World Capital of Jiu-Jitsu.”

Al Dhaheri also highlighted the role of technology and organization in making this championship successful. The Federation has introduced several digital systems for registration, scheduling, and communication, allowing for faster coordination between teams and officials. The hotline system is another example of how innovation is used to improve the athlete and spectator experience.

He said that the hotlines would continue to operate throughout the competition and until all teams complete their participation. The feedback collected through these lines will also help the Federation improve future events and understand the needs of athletes and fans more closely.

The Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Championship is known for bringing together world-class talent and promoting sportsmanship, discipline, and respect—values deeply connected with the spirit of Jiu-Jitsu. The Federation’s latest initiative ensures that the atmosphere remains welcoming and organized for everyone involved.

As the championship continues, thousands of players from different backgrounds are competing for medals, glory, and pride. The Federation’s continuous efforts to provide world-class facilities and services show the UAE’s dedication to advancing sports excellence and hospitality on the international stage.

The launch of the two 24-hour hotlines during this event stands as a reflection of how the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation continues to innovate and support its global sporting community with care and professionalism.
