Senior people living in the UAE now have a health insurance plan made just for them. Dubai Insurance and Aster DM Healthcare have started the "Vibrance Senior" plan, which is the first of its kind in the country. This plan helps solve the problems that older people face when they need medical care. It includes many services, like regular check-ups and advanced treatments, through Aster’s hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies.

The cost of the plan depends on the age of the person and their health history. It can be bought from Dubai Insurance, the OrangeCare website, or Slice of Wellness. There are two choices under this plan. The first offers a yearly medicine limit of AED 3,000 with a 20% co-pay. The second gives a higher medicine limit of AED 5,000, also with a 20% co-pay.
Both choices include shared benefits, like full coverage up to AED 150,000 each year for hospital stays, surgeries, tests, private rooms, and care after leaving the hospital. Seniors can also speak to doctors using telehealth services through TruDoc, so they don’t need to visit in person unless needed. If a visit is required, TruDoc will guide them to Aster Clinics and Hospitals.
The plan helps seniors manage long-term health problems like diabetes and high blood pressure. These members will get lab tests, personal health plans, and advice on fitness and healthy living. Seniors can also have a full health check-up at home for free within 30 days of joining the plan. The plan also covers vaccines and tests for serious health problems like cancer and diabetes, following government health rules.
If there’s an emergency, seniors can get fast care at the nearest facility. If needed, they can be moved to Aster Hospitals for further treatment. Other benefits include free home delivery of medicines, faster appointments, and special waiting areas at Aster Clinics. Members will also get discounts on some services not covered by the plan. For telehealth consultations and medicines ordered from home, there is no co-pay, making it easier and cheaper for seniors to get care.
The plan also focuses on the unique needs of seniors, such as treating arthritis and other long-term health problems. Aster’s expert doctors are ready to help with specialised care. Seniors can also have regular check-ups and follow-ups from home using telehealth or visit in person when required. The plan uses advanced tools to create personalised care for people with chronic health issues and provides 24/7 support through an app or phone.
Abdellatif Abuqurah, the CEO of Dubai Insurance, said the Vibrance Senior plan is designed to meet the growing health needs of older people in the UAE. He said the plan makes sure seniors get high-quality care with full coverage. The partnership with Aster DM Healthcare ensures that older residents can easily get special treatment and live healthier lives. Alisha Moopen, Managing Director and Group CEO of Aster DM Healthcare, said the plan includes everything from telehealth to in-person visits, ensuring seniors get the care they need. She added that the goal is to improve the lives of seniors by giving them the best healthcare solutions.
The Vibrance Senior plan sets a new standard for helping older people in the UAE, making sure they get the care they need with ease and comfort.
