UAE Fuel Prices for February 2025: Latest Rates and Changes Revealed

The UAE Fuel Price Committee has announced that fuel prices will increase in February 2025. Petrol and diesel prices are going up by 12 to 14 fils per liter compared to January 2025.

The new prices, which started on Saturday, February 1, 2025, are as follows:

• Diesel: AED 2.82 per liter, an increase of 14 fils from AED 2.68 in January.
• Super 98 Gasoline: AED 2.74 per liter, up by 13 fils from AED 2.61 in January.
• Special 95 Gasoline: AED 2.63 per liter, an increase of 13 fils from AED 2.50 in January.
• E-Plus 91 Gasoline: AED 2.55 per liter, rising by 12 fils from AED 2.43 in January.

These new prices include a 5% VAT (Value Added Tax). This price change comes after a price freeze in January 2025, when fuel prices were held steady from December 2024. Despite the increase this month, the current fuel prices are still over 7% lower than they were in January 2024.

The UAE's fuel prices are adjusted every month by the Ministry of Energy. These changes depend on global oil price trends and the operating costs of distribution companies in the country.
