Texas Woman Jailed for Attempted Drowning of 3-Year-Old

In a shocking act of racial violence, a Texas woman was sentenced to five years in prison for attempting to drown a 3-year-old Palestinian-American girl at a local swimming pool in May 2024. Elizabeth Wolf, 43, pleaded guilty to attempted murder and injury to a child. She was sentenced by Judge Andy Porter after waiving her right to a jury trial. Court records show the attack unfolded at an apartment complex pool in Euless, Texas, when Wolf confronted the girl’s mother and questioned the family’s origin.

According to police reports, Wolf tried to drown the toddler and reached for her 6-year-old brother. The mother intervened, pulling her daughter from the water. Both children were treated by medics and released without serious injury.
