This new facility is located at Al Ain Square near Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain.
This branch was launched together with the Central Bank of the UAE and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation. It is part of the Nafis initiative, which focuses on creating job opportunities for Emirati people. The new center is also part of Emirates NBD’s plans to expand its presence in Al Ain and show its long-term commitment to hiring Emirati workers.
During his visit to the new center, Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan looked at the new offices and praised the bank's efforts. He pointed out that this project will support economic and social development in the UAE. Sheikh Sultan said the new branch reflects Emirates NBD's efforts to create opportunities for Emirati workers and expand its services in Al Ain.
The new Emirates NBD branch has been built with energy-saving standards in mind and meets environmental rules. It will offer banking services like trade finance, business accounts, credit options, and financial solutions. The branch will handle over 350,000 transactions every year when fully working.
At the moment, 109 Emirati men and women are employed at the new operations center. There are plans to hire 400 Emirati workers over the next three years. This shows how serious Emirates NBD is about supporting local talent and creating more job opportunities for Emirati people.
The new center is part of Emirates NBD’s wider plan to grow in Al Ain. The bank now operates five branches in the region, two under the Emirates NBD name and three under Emirates Islamic.
Emirates NBD also aims to hire more Emirati workers to reach 45% Emiratisation by 2026. This shows the bank’s focus on creating good working conditions and helping Emirati workers learn, grow, and build careers in the banking industry.
The opening of this new branch and operations center marks an important step in Emirates NBD’s goal to expand and provide better services to the people of Al Ain.
