His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler's Representative in the Al Ain Region, has launched an important initiative to increase job opportunities for Emiratis in the private sector. This new project is called the Nafis initiative, and it is a collaboration with the Central Bank of the UAE. The goal of the initiative is to help the UAE meet its Emiratisation targets, which aim to provide more jobs for UAE nationals in the private sector.
The initiative plans to create 2,000 jobs and offer 2,000 training opportunities in Al Ain. The first part of the initiative, which will last until 2026, focuses on offering 1,700 job opportunities specifically in the financial and banking sectors. This will be done in partnership with leading banks in the UAE, such as Emirates NBD, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, First Abu Dhabi Bank, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, and HSBC.
