Dubai, UAE – StandardAero, a leading global aviation services provider, is intensifying its focus on the UAE and the broader Middle East, citing the region as one of the fastest-growing markets in civil, military, and business aviation.

Speaking at the Dubai Airshow 2025, Alex Youngs, Vice President of Marketing, highlighted the company’s strategy to expand its partnership ecosystem. “We are looking for genuine opportunities to collaborate with regional players to enhance service delivery and technical support to local customers,” Youngs said, referencing a successful operational partnership model recently launched in Indonesia.

Despite not having direct operational facilities in the UAE or surrounding countries, StandardAero maintains extensive strategic contracts with key Gulf aviation players, including airlines and defence organizations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. The company’s business has grown significantly over the last two decades, with revenue climbing from around $1 billion to more than $5 billion today.

The move signals StandardAero’s commitment to strengthening local presence indirectly through collaborations rather than establishing new facilities immediately, leveraging partnerships to meet growing regional demand efficiently. The UAE’s robust aviation sector, driven by increasing air traffic and military modernization programs, presents a timely opportunity for such growth strategies.

As the Middle East continues to expand its aviation footprint, StandardAero’s approach of combining strategic alliances with technical expertise positions it to play a key role in the region’s evolving aerospace ecosystem.
